Bowflex Models Vary By Fitness Needs

Regardless of the physical training program a person wished to begin, there are several Bowflex models that can help meet their needs. While the most often advertised model is the most popular, it may be overshadowing some of the other Bowflex models on the market that offer many health benefits. The Bowflex Ultimate has several features that other models lack, however the Ultimate 2 home gym offers virtually every conceivable feature or optional feature to provide a complete weight training and weight loss regimen.

The primary differences between Bowflex models Ultimate and the Ultimate 2 is the Ultimate has two position adjustable pulleys while the Ultimate 2 includes five. The Ultimate 2 also has an optional ab crunch attachment that can be integrated into the equipment, which is not available on the basic Ultimate Bowflex models. The Ultimate 2 also features a maximum of 95 exercise options compared to 90 on the base unit as well as an included preacher curl attachment not available on the Ultimate.

The Bowflex models Extreme and Extreme 2 are slightly watered down versions of the Ultimate, with the Extreme 2 offering up to 70 exercise options while the Extreme offers 60. Both Extreme Bowflex models feature a four-position adjustable pulley system but the no cable change pulley system is only available on the Extreme 2. The Blaze Fitness system is a basic workout system offering 60 exercise possibilities with standard weight resistance of 210 pounds.

New Models Include New Revolution Technology

Using new SpiraFlex technology, the new Bowflex models include the Revolution and Revolution XP, which provide a complete body workout in an easy to use home gym. This newly designed equipped can provide the means of duplicating nearly every exercise available in many gyms. Upper body and lower body workouts with a leg press station that can be upgraded for up to 600 pounds of resistance.

Core and Ab workouts are varied to provide numerous options as well as a built-in rowing machine for weight loss and cardiovascular warm up as well as cool down sessions. The Revolution Bowflex models include preacher curl attachment, a five-position foot harness, hand grips, and leg press plate.

As with all Bowflex models the come complete with instructions on how different exercises work on different muscle groups as well as their instructional DVD to better visualize how the exercise should be performed to get the most out of the workout session. The many different Bowflex models provides many options for achieving the workout needed for greater personal results.
